Chlamydia testing: A free test can be taken for Chlamydia. It's straightforward - you can just pee in a pot and there's no need to be examined. You can get a test sent to you in the post by ordering online at www.RUclear.co.uk or by SMS text. Testing is also available at contraceptive clinics, young people's clinics, walk in centres and a growing number of other venues.

Testing is confidential and you can choose how you get your results. Once you have taken your test you will get your results back in a maximum of two weeks. Most young people choose to be told via their mobile phone. Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are easily treatable with antibiotics and treatment is free. Make sure you get tested every time you have a new sexual partner and routinely once a year.
