WELCOME TO THE I LOVE ME WEBSITE

Be Healthy. Be Happy.

You've just taken the first steps to making Greater Manchester a much healthier and active city by visiting the I Love Me site.

Greater Manchester is a vibrant and exciting place to live. But did you know, people in our region suffer from some of the worst health in England and are more likely to die earlier than almost anywhere else in the country?

So what are we going to do about it? The Greater Manchester Public Health Network have teamed up with the local media to challenge everyone in the area to live a healthier life.

The I Love Me bi-monthly supplement and website are packed full of real life stories, health advice from experts and events from real people living and working in our area. Past editions have included advice and information about breast feeding, cycling, mental wellbeing, maintaining a healthy weight, falls and cervical screening.

All the information from the supplement is also available here on the website along with information about new campaigns, information about your health and our partners.

HALT THE SALT...
Currently adults in Greater Manchester eat on average 9g of salt a day but we should eat a maximum of 6g. Halt the salt campaign aims to encourage people to taste their food before they add salt.
